Ray congratulations on your retirement.Saw Terry on thursday said keep that swing going on fridays.Great Hobby image is that something in it's left talon.
The Swing is coming on nicely :} Yes the Hobby has caught what I think is a Dragonfly , it actually swooped over my head as I was standing on the edge of a lake and I saw it skim the water and then return back over my head , I managed to follow it and luckily it landed not far away, so was able to get the pic.
Thanks Christian, the Hobby Falcon is not common to this area so I have been lucky to see it twice now, and yes retirement is sweet :) , we are going to Langkawi at the end of this month so I hope to bring back some nice photos of the Hornbills,
Ray the large bird is a heron you will see them on rivers and lakes they eat fish, frogs, and anything else they can get down their neck. The small bird is a bearded tit a rare bird seen at Leighton Moss and 1 or 2 other locations in the country. Regards Martin.
