A BIT OF A SLOW DAY DOWN AT HERDSMAN LAKE
BUT IT DID PROVIDE A LITTLE SURPRISE ! 
FACE TO FACE WITH A TIGER SNAKE!!

IT WAS FASCINATING TO WATCH THE  FEMALE
LOOKING AFTER THE YOUNG ONES WHILE THE 
                        MALE FETCHED TINY FISH FOR THEM

    Very brave with the snake Ray,really like the 2 and 3rd images of the grebe family,spot on with the eye contact.

    Thanks Martin, I was really pleased with the second one , my first encounter with a family of Grebes, I hope to get down to the Lake soon , just fascinating to watch, with an eye out for the snakes of course ha ha !!
